Warren Moore

Ian Ravenswood

Warren has a Bachelor of Economics, a Diploma of Education, and experience as a secondary school teacher.  He drew on his education and experience to establish the Hellyer Training Services, a SkillShare project.

Within three years the organisation went from one employee to 40 staff, generating an annual turnover of almost $3.5 million. Warren then left to establish the West Coast Development Board based in Strahan.

After establishing the Board Warren graduated with a Masters Degree in Business Administration he then returned to Burnie to practice as an accountant.  He started as a management consultant and within two years established his current business, Moore Consulting in 1999. His experience and practical advice has helped many clients to establish and grow their business.

Carmen Evans

Carmen is employed as project co-ordinator with Moore Consulting as well as with Braddon Business Centre, and has recently completed a Certificate IV in Community Services with TAFE Tasmania. With over fifteen years office administration and program management experience, Carmen brings a practical understanding for clients, particularly in the areas of:

  • Program and event co-ordination;
  • Client liaison and scheduling;
  • Program administration, reporting and compliance;
  • Contract management; and,
  • Documentation.

What we do

Braddon Business Centre Inc (BBC) provides business advisory services to small and medium business owners in each of the Burnie, Circular Head, King Island, Waratah-Wynyard and West Coast local government areas. Our advisors meet with clients in a one on one consultation at a preferred location.  BBC advisors will mentor in all aspects of small business including:

  • how to get started;
  • how to manage financials for new business;
  • how to plan for business success;
  • how to market your business;
  • how to effectively manage your business; and
  • how to exit your business.

BBC clients receive up to five hours business advice FREE of charge as BBC is funded through the Department of State Growth Enterprise Centre Tasmania program. BBC clients are either intending or existing small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs).
